Grief & Inspiration (the Metal Phase)

The Metal Phase reminds us to Let Go in order to Receive.

I woke to sunshine this morning and snow in the mountains. My nose is very cold as I write to you… even with my hat and cashmere scarf on. It’s very late fall here in Western North Carolina and I feel called to stay inside and build a fire and make soup.

I went ahead and made a fire now… before sitting back down to write.

The energy I want to share with is that of cozying up together on a crisp night. The energy I want to create with is bright and flickering with change. Here I sit wrapped up in warmth willing to be inside and LISTEN, tend my home, connect to Spirit.

I wonder…

How do you set your space to come inside, to be quiet and to listen??

Do you have rituals that bring you closer to yourSelf?

Once you’re quiet~ I want to know…

What’s stirring just under the surface for you right now??

How do you know what you know?

Where in your body does your intuition live?

These questions help me connect to autumn’s spirit… the Metal season and Phase in Five Element theory.

Our attention shifts to what’s just underneath our skin.

We enter our own personal crystal cave and unearth treasures.

We Let Go and create space.

We grieve what is gone and get clear on what’s most important.

Grief and inspiration both belong to the Metal Phase and our work is to hold both.

Sometimes Metal is sharp and cutting but it is also deepening. I’ve grown to love this depth and as I get closer to my second winter here in these mountains with four distinct seasons~ my love of coming inward grows.

I’ve heard INTIMACY be defined as In-To-Me-I-See.

This season welcomes intimacy… our connection to self and spirit is amplified. Breath-work, breathing, and inspiration are powerful ways to support this phase.

I spoke some words about the Metal Phase in this podcast recording. I want to overview all Five Phases and encourage us all to look to nature as

the visible face of tao.

Magic is everywhere.

We get to choose which energies we tap into, which ones we cultivate, and which ones we show up with.

I’m gathering others who want to ritualize playing with energy.

Seeking friends who want to connect to intuition, spirit and nature as a portal to other worlds… and as tools for transformation.

Spirit Matters is new virtual program starting late January 2024 exploring the profound wisdom of nature and intuition that’s available to guide us all.

Learning to trust and discern intuition from the noise of other people (and the over-culture) has been a journey. Creating a consistent practice and sharing with others has been a game-changer.

My wish is to find others awakening to their Inner Wisdom and bring us all together to collectively bring more of our True Selves into our daily lives.

Can you imagine a world where we all lived in integrity with our values?

What if we were all constantly expanding in love, creativity, compassion, and wisdom?

I wanna see what we can build if we all listen deeply and create from love??

Looking forward to the changing seasons and sharing stories by the fireside.

Gonna make some blueberry lavender tea now and curious which warm drinks feel like a cuppa-love to you these days??

xo,

Jessica
